I love teaching people how to use Social Media and showing them how it can work for their business. It invariably opens a new line of communication and creates more opportunity for them in ways they don’t always expect.
Most of what we do in business is to increase sales and make more money. If you aren’t increasing sales as a result of the work you are doing in Social Media or any other marketing channel, you might be feeling like there is not much point.

Social Media is about building relationships. You have to work to build relationships and to keep them going and evolving. The key to this is communication.
You need a Communication Plan to keep in touch with people. You can do this many different ways. Here are a few of my favorites:

The most important thing to remember about communication and relationship building is, you must be authentic and consistent.
The ultimate goal of your communication is to establish that you are credible and reliable. This is how you get people to know, like and trust you. Once you’ve earned their trust, it’s much easier to earn their business.
Now, here’s the real secret to getting people to buy from you. I warn you though, it’s so simple you’re never going to believe it works.
Are you ready?
Yes, it’s that simple. Ask them.
Once you have established a relationship with your audience, the hard work is done. People are much more likely to buy from someone they know, like and trust.
Don’t be like everyone else though and ask them before you have done the real work – building relationships.
